ever since i owned a computer, i've spent ages hunting for images of paintings i like, and as the years go by so better quality images become available to replace those already saved ... gradually, the textures of paint and canvas are revealed ... and this morning just a quick trawl has given these refreshed images ... glyn philpot had the knack of making lovely people look even better ...
