personally ... i'm not keen on this parable because it shows the bridegroom ( jesus ? ) as being something of a mean-spirited killjoy ... he says to the foolish ones ... "I KNOW YOU NOT" ... well, i wouldn't turn five foolish virgins away from my party ... but what do i know ?
