a prolific artist ... too much stuff in one short life for me to outline ... but here are eight paintings of crows which are held in the met in new york ...  ink on silk ... clicketty click for the detailed images ... look at how he shapes the feet ... look at how he deals with the varied textures of feather ...

i'm very fond of this ... two crows greeting the sunrise at asakusa ...
